Galatians is Paul’s urgent reminder that the Christian life begins, continues, and is sustained by the gospel—not by our performance. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, and we don’t mature by moving on from that truth into “fancy theology” or big words and concepts; but by going reminding ourselves of the gospel every day.
